The first time I’ve ever been turned away from an open house. My partner and I were looking at other homes in the Tujunga area and noticed several open house signs from Donut Reality Group about a specific property. Once we showed up at the location, we were stopped from entering by Justin and felt interrogated about who our agent was and why we were in the area. We were then told that the owner doesn’t want too many people coming into the home and that unless an agent contacted him beforehand, we would not be able to come in. I mentioned to him that its perplexing that he would have literally 5 or 6 signs in the area about the open house if it wasn’t truly an open house. It left me and my partner with a VERY bad taste in our mouth. After he turned us away, he offered us a donut. We drove away feeling that somehow we had been profiled. Not a great feeling. We told our agent about the experience and he confirmed that that was an unusual practice. I can’t speak on his ability to sell a home or represent buyers, but I would not recommend him to anyone after this experience
